Priming and Revving the Engine

Before a racecar driver takes his car to the track, it must be aligned, tuned and primed in order to handle the intense speeds and demands it’s about to experience. Your body is no different when it comes to preparing for an intense workout or cardio session. We need to get our muscles, joints and nervous system ready to safely and effectively handle the intensity of the work ahead. In the following video, we will highlight some dynamic movements you can use to activate, position and prime the body before an intense cardio or movement session.
